Refreshing picture in hot summer

Hi there,

This time, summer in Bangalore is very hot .. so i thought of clicking a picture that will refresh you... so here it is.........

Focal Length : 55mm   Shutter Speed : 1/30 of a sec(0.0333 sec)  f stop(Aperture)  : f/36 ISO : 100 White Balance : Auto

To shoot closeup photos Macro lenses are the ideal choice, i don't have macro lens so i used my 18-55 mm kit lens.

To shoot pictures like this, you need a slice of lemon, sparkling water or club soda and green gift wrap paper for background. Hook the lemon slice to top of glass with clip and keep it on the bench or chair, place gift wrap paper at background. Remember make this setup outside your house or in the park where you will have good amount light.
Mount your SLR to tripod and focus the subject, set your aperture and shutter speed according to the light available. Now action time ... Pour the sparkling water into the glass and click.

You can use a slice of orange with blue background ......

Share your views until then enjoy shooting :)

Meeting TARGET

Focal Length : 55mm   Shutter Speed : 1/5 of a sec
f stop(Aperture) : f/8 ISO : 400

One day i came home early from work, and was getting bored of watching TV. So thought of speed photography, capturing speed of flying dart.. After hundres of click, finally i was able capture this....(how? a small trick..) i used Adobe PhotoShop Elements 11 to blur the dart broad and background and used depth field feature focus dart.
