Texture photography with a twist

We often shoot texture or pattern, combination of textures gives you a beautiful pattern, but pattern itself  is predictable. To make it unpredictable, we have to introduce something which does not fit in the texture you are shooting.

In this image i placed chicken feather on the rock to take my texture photography to the next level. Take look at the two images side by side, what do you think???
